Safety with Lami Didi
Meeting someone new should feel exciting, not risky. Here’s how I protect you, and how you can protect yourself.
How your privacy works
- Your photo stays sealed
- Everyone sees a blurred photo until you both say yes. The clear photo is never sent to someone you haven’t matched with, so there’s no trick to unblur it.
- Nickname only
- People see your nickname, age, city, work field and answers. Never your surname, workplace, exact location or social handles.
- Private details stay private
- Caste, gotra, religion and visa status never appear on your Vibe Card. I only use them for matching, and only if you choose to answer.
- Checked by me
- Everyone sends a selfie that I check myself. It’s never shown on your profile.
- You choose who talks to you
- Only your matches can message you, and you decide if and when to swap numbers.
Before you meet
- Video call before you meet.
- Meet somewhere public, like a busy cafe.
- Tell a friend or family member where you’re going.
- Get yourself there and back.
- Never send money, gift cards or visa help to someone you haven’t met, however good the story sounds.
If something feels wrong
Block and report them from their profile or your chat. I read every report, and anyone who makes others feel unsafe is removed.
If you’re in danger, call 000 in Australia or 100 in Nepal.
